Tomorrow, Mayor Olivia Chow will be joined by Toronto City Councillors, City of Toronto staff and development partners to celebrate the ground-breaking of the new Etobicoke Civic Centre – a landmark project that will anchor the up-and-coming Bloor-Kipling mixed-use community development in Etobicoke Centre.

The ceremony will take place at the new Etobicoke Civic Centre construction site and include official remarks followed by media availability and a photo opportunity within the designated safe zone.

Location access
Pedestrian access to the ceremony location (safe zone) is only permitted via the entrance on Bloor St. W., between Kipling Avenue and Dundas St. W.
Parking is not available on-site. The site is a 10-minute walk or approximately 700 metres from the TTC Islington Station and TTC Kipling Station (accessible) on the TTC Subway Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) and a similar distance from the Kipling GO station.
